April 8, 2025: Palestine, AR 72372 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR) and the visiting Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR), observed Palestine-Wheatley's softball team get by Midland by a tally of 11-8.
The Patriots (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, West Memphis was routed by Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR), 15-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Midland will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 15-0 league win over Viola (Viola, AR).
