California High School Baseball - Saint Francis defeats Central Catholic

April 8, 2026: Mountain View, CA 94040

The Saint Francis Lancers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Central Catholic Raiders to 0 in the Lancers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Lancers now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carmel for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. Saint Francis will play a Padres team coming off a 9-3 league win over Hollister (Hollister, CA). The Padres record now stands at 10-4.

With the defeat, Central Catholic drops to 18-5 on the year. The Raiders travel to Oakdale (Oakdale, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Valley Oak League test on Monday, April 13. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 15-6. Oakdale won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Enochs (Modesto, CA)
