The Corry Beavers baseball squad (Corry, PA), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA)

With the triumph, Maplewood moves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA) to confront the Sailors in a District 10 Region 3 contest on Friday, April 10. The Sailors come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Lakeview won 8-6 in their recent league contest against Cochranton (Cochranton, PA)

The Beavers now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union City for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 9. Corry will confront a Bears squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Bears record now stands at 2-2.
