The Elizabeth Forward Warriors baseball squad (Elizabeth, PA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA)

With the triumph, Moon Area moves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Tigers host Central Valley (Monaca, PA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league contest on Friday, April 10. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Central Valley lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against Beaver (Beaver, PA)

The Warriors now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Vernon for a WPIAL 4A 2 contest on Monday, April 13. Elizabeth Forward will confront a Leopards squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA). The Leopards record now stands at 8-2.
