New York High School Baseball - Point Pleasant wallops Frewsburg
April 8, 2026: Frewsburg, NY 14738 The Point Pleasant Big Blacks baseball team scored 23 runs and held the host Frewsburg Bears to 3 in the Big Blacks non-league win on Wednesday.
The Big Blacks now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morehead for a non-league test on Thursday, April 9. Point Pleasant will play a Panthers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 12-5.
With the defeat, Frewsburg drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV) to play the Big Blacks in a non-league test on Friday, April 10. The Big Blacks go into the test with a record of 8-3. Point Pleasant lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Morehead (Eden, NC)
