Georgia High School Baseball - Schley County defeats Upson-Lee
April 8, 2026: Thomaston, GA 30286 The Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) baseball trounced the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deerfield-Windsor for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 9. Schley County will clash with a Knights team coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Lowndes Academy (Lowndesboro, AL). The Knights record now stands at 10-2.
With the defeat, Upson-Lee drops to 9-18 on the year. The Knights host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 17-10. Mary Persons won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)
