April 8, 2026: Huntington, WV 25704 The Spring Valley Timberwolves baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Wheatmore Warriors to 1 in the Timberwolves non-league win on Wednesday.
The Timberwolves now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a Mountain State test on Monday, April 13.
With the defeat, Wheatmore drops to 2-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, April 9. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 9-3. Southwestern Randolph won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)
