In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Bloomfield Cardinals softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Springs Valley Blackhawks.

The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Northview (Brazil, IN). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Northview notched a victory over Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN), 6-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Crawford County Wolfpack (Marengo, IN) in a Patoka Lake match, on Friday, April 10. Springs Valley will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 21-11 non-league loss to Shoals (Shoals, IN).
