In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Mills Vikings softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Westmont Warriors.

The Vikings (7-3) will now prepare for their match against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Knights come into the Peninsula - Bay match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, King's Academy nipped San Mateo (San Mateo, CA), 3-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) in a Mount Hamilton match, on Friday, April 10. Westmont will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Acorns come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 4-0 league win over Branham (San Jose, CA).
