The Eastside Eagles baseball team (Covington, GA), was overwhelmed 13-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA)

The Warriors now hold a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loganville for a AAAAA Region 8 outing on Tuesday, April 13. Walnut Grove will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 19-5.

Next, the Eagles confront the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 12. Eastside will attempt to advance on its 16-7 season record. The Greyhounds go into the outing with a 14-9 record after their 6-2 league win over Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA).
