With the victory, Rhea County moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Cookeville (Cookeville, TN) to confront the Cavaliers in a AAA District 6 bout on Thursday, April 15. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a record of 4-3. Cookeville won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN)
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN) in a AAA District 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 13. Walker Valley will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Cherokees enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN).
