Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 20-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Arthur for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 10.

With the loss, Montgomery falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Saline (Saline, LA) to face the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 13. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 9-5.
