Kansas High School Baseball - Blue Valley West holds off Leavenworth
April 9, 2022: Leavenworth, KS 66048 Blue Valley West Jaguars (Stilwell, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Leavenworth PIONEERS (Leavenworth, KS), 7-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Blue Valley West upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Lincoln College Prep (Kansas City, MO) to battle the Blue Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, April 25. The Blue Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-1.
With the defeat, Leavenworth falls to 3-3 on the season. The Pioneers host Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 2-3. Basehor-Linwood lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against De Soto (De Soto, KS)
