Illinois High School Baseball - Riverside-Brookfield gets by Lake Forest Academy
April 9, 2022: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Riverside-Brookfield upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL) to battle the Warriors in a Metro Suburban - Blue test on Monday, April 11. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-6. Wheaton Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL)
With the defeat, Lake Forest Academy falls to 0-1 on the season. The Caxys host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to battle the Scouts in a non-league test on Saturday, April 16. The Scouts come into the test with a record of 4-3.
