The Pirates now hold a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haleyville for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 9. Winfield will confront a Lions team coming off a 12-7 league loss to Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Lions record now stands at 10-13.
Next, the Red Raiders confront the Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 12. Marion County will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 4-14 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL).
