April 9, 2022: Granville, IL 61326 The Putnam County Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Ottawa Pirates to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Midland (Varna, IL). The Timberwolves go into the Tri-County match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Midland was overwhelmed by Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the Interstate Eight match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Sandwich was overwhelmed by Freeport (Freeport, IL), 3-0, in a non-league match.
