California High School Volleyball - Palma can't hold off Evergreen Valley
April 9, 2022: Salinas, CA 93901 The Palma Chieftains volleyball team (Salinas, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA)
The Cougars (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Burton (San Francisco, CA). The Pumas come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Burton got by The Academy - San Francisco (San Francisco, CA), 3-1, in a league bout.
The Chieftains now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Menlo-Atherton for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9. Palma will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Bears record now stands at 6-6.
