In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Palatine Pirates volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Warren Township Blue Devils.

The Pirates (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks come into the battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Hoffman Estates was edged by Barrington (Barrington, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
