April 9, 2022: Chardon, OH 44024 Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), 9-7 in a non-league battle.
The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop Hoban for a non-league battle on Monday, April 11. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) in a battle, on Thursday, April 14. Mentor will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Medina (Medina, OH).
