Game Summary
The Warriors got on the board first in their BodyArmor Series opener when Jessie Fisher split the defense for Ally Linn to run in behind and cross it for Holly Deutsch at the back post. Deutsch tucked it in for her 5th of the season in the 18th minute. Emma Gassman found Deutsch, whose low drive to the far post was tapped in by Maggie Culver in the 29th minute. The Trojans pulled one back in the 37th minute to make it 2-1 at the half. Deerfield piled up chances in the second half, but could not score until Holly Deutsch split the center backs for Ryane Emory to run onto and score. Lauren Gottlieb made 4 saves for the Warriors.
