Illinois High School Soccer - Wheeling overwhelmed by Mundelein
April 9, 2022: Wheeling, IL 60090 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) and the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), saw Mundelein's soccer squad triumph over Wheeling by a margin of 5-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Highland Park for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 12. Mundelein will meet a Giants squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Giants record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Wheeling drops to 0-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to meet the Knights in a Mid-Suburban - East test on Monday, April 11. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-2. Prospect lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL)
