Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lincoln-Way West drops to Benet Academy
April 9, 2022: New Lenox, IL 60451 In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Benet Academy Redwings lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-6 victory over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors.
The Redwings now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Naperville Central for a non-league test on Monday, April 11. Benet Academy will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 0-6.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a South Suburban test, on Monday, April 11. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 13-0 league loss to Washington (Washington, IL).
