New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Jefferson Township held off by New Providence
April 9, 2022: New Providence, NJ 07924 New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ), 4-3 in a non-league battle.
The Pioneers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watchung Hills Regional for a non-league battle on Monday, April 11. New Providence will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 11. Jefferson Township will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record.
