New York High School Lacrosse - Walt Whitman drops to Longwood
April 9, 2022: Middle Island, NY 11953 Longwood Lions (Middle Island, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY), 10-1 in a league battle.
The Lions now own a 2-1 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 11. Walt Whitman will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Churchill (Potomac, MD).
