Virginia High School Lacrosse - St. Anne's-Belfield overwhelms Sidwell Friends
April 9, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22903 The St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), 18-10 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, St. Anne's-Belfield upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Saints travel to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to battle the Bishops in a Virginia Independent outing on Tuesday, April 12. The Bishops go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Virginia Episcopal School won 14-5 in their recent league outing against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA)
With the loss, Sidwell Friends moves to 3-5 on the campaign. The Quakers host Georgetown Day (Washington, DC) to face the Mighty Hoppers in a Mid-Atlantic [MAC] test on Tuesday, April 12. The Mighty Hoppers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Georgetown Day lost 15-1 in their recent non-league test against Potomac School (McLean, VA)
