Tennessee High School Soccer - Evangelical Christian nudges Madison
April 9, 2022: Cordova, TN 38018 Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Madison Mustangs (Jackson, TN), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the St. George's Gryphons (Collierville, TN) in a D II-A West 6 challenge, on Tuesday, April 12. Evangelical Christian will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Memphis University (Memphis, TN).
The Mustangs now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milan for a 1A District 12 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Madison will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Crockett County (Alamo, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
