In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Independence Wildcats softball team scored a close 12-11 win over the Northpoint Christian Trojans.

Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 11. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 2-7 record after their 17-0 league loss to Hernando (Hernando, MS).
