Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northview Knights (Brazil, IN), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Artesians now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Center Grove for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11.

With the loss, Northview falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN) to face the Tiger Cubs in a Western Indiana challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Tiger Cubs enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Greencastle lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN)
