Wheeler Warriors (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bancroft Bulldogs (Worcester, MA), 7-1 in a league test.

With the win, Wheeler upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI) to battle the Ravens in a Eastern Independent test on Friday, April 12. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 3-0. Portsmouth Abbey won 11-0 in their recent league test against Concord Academy (Concord, MA)

With the defeat, Bancroft falls to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Gann Academy (Waltham, MA) to battle the Red Heifers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. The Red Heifers come into the test with a record of 1-2.
