April 9, 2024: Axton, VA 24054 Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs (Danville, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs confront the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, April 10. Carlisle will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Flames enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 6-2 league win over North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Faith Christian for a non-league match on Thursday, April 11. Westover Christian Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Dayspring Christian Academy (Blacksburg, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
