Alaska High School Soccer - Eagle River overwhelmed by Service
April 9, 2024: Eagle River, AK 99577 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) and the host Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), saw Service's soccer squad triumph over Eagle River by a margin of 8-0.
The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Anchorage for a Cook Inlet test on Saturday, April 13. Service will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Bartlett (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Eagle River drops to 1-2 on the season. The Wolves host Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to meet the Warriors in a Railbelt test on Friday, April 12. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-1. Wasilla lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Colony (Palmer, AK)
