California High School Softball - Etna holds off Rogue River

The Etna Lions the visiting Rogue River Chieftains softball squad by a final score of 6-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Lions (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Weed (Weed, CA). The Cougars go into the Shasta Cascade battle with a 4-6 record.

The Chieftains now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Valley for a 3A-SD3 Special District 3 battle on Thursday, April 11. Rogue River will meet a Knights squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.
