Maryland High School Softball - Gaithersburg bounces Seneca Valley
April 9, 2024: Gaithersburg, MD 20877 Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), 10-0 in a league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest for a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge on Thursday, April 11. Gaithersburg will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 12-7 league win over Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Seneca Valley falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Screamin' eagles host Northwest (Germantown, MD) to battle the Jaguars in a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Northwest won 20-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Magruder (Rockville, MD)
