Minnesota High School Softball - Winona bounces John Marshall
April 9, 2024: Winona, MN 55987 Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting John Marshall Rockets (Rochester, MN), 12-0 in a league challenge.
The Winhawks now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kasson-Mantorville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. Winona will face a Komets squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Komets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, John Marshall falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Century (Rochester, MN) to face the Panthers in a Big 9 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Century won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN)
