April 9, 2024: Laurel, DE 19956 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) and the visiting Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), saw Laurel's softball squad nip Smyrna by a count of 5-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mark's for a non-league match on Saturday, April 13.
With the loss, Smyrna falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Indian River (Dagsboro, DE) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 16. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-3. Indian River won 9-8 in their recent non-league match against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE)
