April 9, 2025: Methuen, MA 01844 Methuen Rangers (Methuen, MA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Amesbury Redhawks (Amesbury, MA), 5-4 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Methuen advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rangers travel to Lawrence (Lawrence, MA) to battle the Lancers in a non-league match on Friday, April 11. The Lancers come into the match with a record of 0-1. Lawrence lost 10-5 in their recent non-league match against Boston English (Boston, MA)
The Redhawks now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester Essex for a CAL Baker match on Thursday, April 10. Amesbury will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.
