In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Lincoln Prep Lightning (Chandler, AZ) baseball squad nipped the host Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ), by a score of 8-7.

Next up, the Lightning encounter the Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) in a 2A East bout, on Monday, April 14. Lincoln Prep will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Roughriders enter the bout with a 6-7 record after their 13-0 league win over Miami (Miami, AZ).
