The South Williamsport Mountaineers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Canton Warriors to 6 in the Mountaineers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wellsboro for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. South Williamsport will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Sayre (Sayre, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Canton drops to 1-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sugar Valley Rural (Loganton, PA) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Phoenix go into the test with a record of 0-4. Sugar Valley Rural 7-7 in their recent league test against Muncy (Muncy, PA)
