In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Faith Christian Academy Lions.

The Firebirds (3-4) will now prepare for their game against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Hermits go into the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, St. Augustine Prep nudged Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ), 13-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Lions play the Collegium Charter Cougar (Exton, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 10. Faith Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Cougar go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 14-4 league loss to Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA).
