In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks (Hammond, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Shore Homeschool Athletics Eagles (Portage, IN), by a tally of 17-0.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Hammond Academy of Science & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Whiting (Whiting, IN).
