Maryland High School Baseball - Lackey wallops Thomas Stone
April 9, 2025: Indian Head, MD 20640 The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) baseball trounced the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 12-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Chargers now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Great Mills for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 11. Lackey will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Thomas Stone drops to 0-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to clash with the Raiders in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 11. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Leonardtown lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD)
