Louisiana High School Baseball - McDonogh 35 wallops Varnado
April 9, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70122 The McDonogh 35 Roneagles baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Varnado Wildcats to 0 in the Roneagles non-league win on Wednesday.
The Roneagles now hold a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to L.W. Higgins for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. McDonogh 35 will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 6-3 league loss to East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 16-8.
With the defeat, Varnado drops to 5-12 on the year. The Wildcats host West St. John (Edgard, LA) to play the Rams in a 1A District 10 test on Wednesday, April 9. The Rams go into the test with a record of 3-11. West St. John lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA)
