Virginia High School Softball - Liberty Christian bounces Broadway
April 9, 2025: Broadway, VA 22815 The Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) softball routed the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), 14-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halifax County for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 12. Liberty Christian will encounter a Comets team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Comets record now stands at 11-0.
With the loss, Broadway moves to 3-1 on the season. The Gobblers travel to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA) to encounter the Blue Streaks in a non-league outing on Friday, April 11. The Blue Streaks come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Harrisonburg lost 19-7 in their recent non-league outing against Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA)
