April 9, 2025: Belle Chasse, LA 70037 The Belle Chasse Cardinals softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots to 0 in the Cardinals non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Plaquemines for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. Belle Chasse will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, A.J. Ellender moves to 6-11 on the season. The Patriots host Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 10. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 11-9. Covenant Christian Academy won 13-1 in their recent non-league battle against Terrebonne (Houma, LA)
