The Akron Rams baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Wiggins Tigers to 1 in the Rams league win on Thursday.

The Rams now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Caliche for a 1A District 5 test on Friday, April 10. Akron will clash with a Buffaloes team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Highland (Ault, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-8.

With the defeat, Wiggins drops to 5-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO) to clash with the Lions in a 2A Lower Platte test on Saturday, April 11. The Lions go into the test with a record of 3-5. Sedgwick County lost 16-6 in their recent non-league test against Maxwell/St. Patrick's (Maxwell, NE)
