The Eastern Mennonite Flames baseball team scored 22 runs and held the visiting Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers to 1 in the Flames non-league win on Thursday.

The Flames now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Randolph-Macon Academy for a non-league test on Monday, April 13. Eastern Mennonite will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Quantico (Quantico, VA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Appalachian Christian School drops to 0-1 on the year. The Trailblazers travel to Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA) to clash with the Caissons in a non-league test on Monday, April 13. The Caissons go into the test with a record of 2-3.
