The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks baseball squad (Southwest Ranches, FL), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL)

With the triumph, Cypress Bay moves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Lightning travel to Goleman (Miami, FL) to confront the Gators in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 14. The Gators come into the contest with a record of 15-8. Goleman won 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Mater Bay Academy (Cutler Bay, FL)

The Mavericks now possess a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host ABF Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, April 10. Archbishop McCarthy will confront a Cowboys squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Coral Shores (Tavernier, FL). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-10.
