The Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) softball the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 8-5 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boardman for a All-American outing on Monday, April 13. Canfield will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Washington (Massillon, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Louisa County moves to 2-6 on the season. The Lions travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league outing on Friday, April 10.
