The Eunice Cardinals softball squad (Eunice, NM), was edged 7-6 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM)

With the triumph, Capitan improves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Tigers host Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM) to face the SonBlazers in a A/2A District 3 contest on Saturday, April 11. The SonBlazers enter the contest with a record of 7-7. Mesilla Valley Christian School lost 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM)
