The St. Bede Bruins triumphed over the host Serena Huskers softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bruins meet the IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 11. St. Bede will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 8-3 league win over DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL).

The Huskers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Plano was routed by Brighton (Brighton, TN), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.
